    Shaji bhosle and Jija Bai was parents of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.He was brought at Poona under the supervision of his mother and Brahmin Dadaji Kondadeoji who made an expert soldier and an efficient administrator. His administration was widely  influenced with Deccan administrative practices. He appointed eight ministers were called ‘Astapradhan’ assists him in the administrative

February 19, 1630 – April 03, 1680) or popularly known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was an Indian warrior-king and the 1st Chhatrapati of Maratha Empire from the Bhosle Maratha. Shivaji created alchemy from the declining Adilshahi sultanate of Vijapur to the origin of the Maratha Empire. In 1674, Raigarh was formally crowned as the Chhatrapati of his own built fort.


Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj founded the Maratha Empire in western India. He is called one of the great warrior even today, stories of his exploits are narrated as a part of the folklore. With his courage and great administrative skills, Shivaji made a knife from the decadent Sultanate Adilshahi of Vijapur. It eventually became the founder of the Maratha Empire. 
After establishing his kingdom, Shivaji implemented an efficient and progressive administration with the help of a decent military and established administration. Shivaji is known for his innovative military tactics, which focus on unconventional methods that employ strategic factors such as geography, speed, and surprise to defeat more powerful enemies. Throughout his life, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj engaged in alliances and hostilities with the Mughal empire, the sultanate of Golconda and the sultan of Bijapur, as well as with European colonial powers. 
 Shivaji-equipped administrative organizations have created a capable and progressive civil government. He revived old Hindu political traditions and judicial conventions and promoted the use of Marathi and Sanskrit instead of the Persian language for justice and administration.
Shivaji's legacy should vary from observer to time, but he began to take on greater importance with the rise of the Indian independence movement, as much as he rose as a proto-nationalist and hero of the Hindus. Particularly in Maharashtra, debates about his history and his role have sparked a great passion. sometimes even violence as disparate groups has attempted to characterize him and his legacy.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Bhosle was born on February 19, 1630, to Shahaji Bhosle and Jija Bai in the fort of Shivneri, near the city of Junnar of the Pune district. Shivaji's father, Shahaji, was a Bijapur Sultanate - a trilateral union between Bijapur, Ahmednagar and Golconda as a general. He also owned a jaigirdari in Pune. Shivaji's mother was the daughter of Jijabai Sindhkhed leader Lakhujirao Jadhav, who was a very loyal man. Shivaji was especially close to his mother, who wrote a strong sense of right and wrong. While Shahaji spent most of his time outside Pune, the responsibility of overseeing the education of Shivaji Maharaj was on the shoulders of a small council of ministers of his (Chandrao Nilakantha) cabinet (Balakrishna Pant), (Raghunath Ballal). (Sonopant) and one (Dadoji Kondadev). Shivaji bhosle and Saibai Nimbalkar married in the year 1640.
